Have you ever felt like your authority steered you wrong when making decisions, like listening to a sacral yes that felt like a no later, or following an intuitive ping that you regretted?
I’m sure it’s happened to most, if not all, of us as we started living through Human Design — this feeling of disconnect and distrust is something I’ve personally worked on for years.
So today I’m going in-depth about one of the biggest foundations of my business: understanding what your authority feels like with a dysregulated or disassociated nervous system.
How do you trust your body when it doesn't feel safe to do so? It’s a big question, and I’m breaking it down:
- identifying the different trauma responses of the nervous system: fight, flight, freeze, and fawn
- how to begin processing feelings and following your authority when you have a hard time labeling emotions in your body
- the crucial question to ask yourself every time you feel that sacral yes, sense of excitement, or other positive body response
- how to decode and reconcile the mixed messages between your authority and your nervous system
- a simple (and not time-consuming!) daily habit you can start practicing to help teach yourself that it’s safe to feel how your body actually feels
Even if you don’t trust your body’s relationship to your authority right now, I hope that this episode gives you the push you need to start moving forward and eventually feel the true connection to your body.
